RNDr. Luděk Sehnal, Ph.D, appointed as the new Head of the Czech Collection of Microorganisms
As of 1 February 2026, the leadership of the Czech Collection of Microorganisms will be assumed by RNDr. Luděk Sehnal, Ph.D.
Student visit to the CCM
On February 6, 2025, students from the Biology Seminar at JAK Gymnasium in Uherský Brod came to our facility for a study excursion.
During their stay, students explored our laboratories and microorganism depositories under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Pavel Švec and they learned about long-term microorganism preservation methods and the research activities conducted at our institution. As part of the visit, they also attended a lecture by Prof. Ivo Sedláček on our involvement in the Czech Antarctic Research Program.
