Student visit to the CCM
In the frame of the Microbiology Excursions course, biology and biochemistry students from the Faculty of Science of Masaryk University visited our collection.
RNDr. Ludmila Marvanová, CSc. (1931 - 2024)
We are deeply saddened to share that our dear colleague and outstanding mycologist, RNDr. Ludmila Marvanová, CSc., passed away earlier this year.
Her commitment to science and many years of work in the taxonomy and ecology of aquatic hyphomycetes left an indelible mark on the world of mycology.
A tribute from her close colleagues has been published in the newsletter of the Mycological Society of America, where she was an honorary member.
